＜Profile＞
Fukunaga Daisuke was born in Tokyo, in 1981. He graduated from the oil painting course of Tama Art University in 2004, lives and works in Kanagawa, Japan.
He has participated in group shows such as “AFTER THE REALITY 2” curated by Hitomi Yoshii (Daichi Projects, New York, 2008), “VOCA Exhibition 2009” (The Ueno Royal Museum), and “The Way of Painting” (Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery, 2014). Also as a member of the artist group MIHOKANNO, he participated in group exhibitions “Hello MIHOKANNO” (Tokyo Wonder Site Shibuya, Tokyo, 2009) and “GOOD NIGHT MIHOKANNO” (Akibatamabi 21, 3331 Arts Chiyoda, 2011). He won the first Kinutani Koji Award sponsored by the Mainichi Shimbun in 2009. At Tomio Koyama Gallery, Fukunaga has held solo exhibitions in 2006, 2008, 2011, and 2013.
He is having his fifth solo exhibition at Tomio Koyama Gallery until 17 October.
Satoshi Ohno was born in 1980 in Gifu. Having graduated from Tokyo Zokei University, he currently lives and works in Yamanashi. He has held four solo exhibitions at Tomio Koyama Gallery, as well as “Prism Violet” at The Honolulu Museum of Art (2007). He has also participated in many group exhibitions including “Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2009” at Fukutake House 2009 (the former Nagaya Elementary School building in Niigata); “VOCA 2010” at Ueno Royal Museum, Tokyo; “Real Japanesque” at The National Museum of Art, Osaka (2012); “Art Scope 2012-2014 Remains of Their Journeys” at the Hara Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo (2014); and “The Way of Painting” at Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery (2014). His work is included in the collections of the Hara Museum of Contemporary Art, the Toyota Art Collection, and The National Museum of Art, and also in numerous private collections of Japanese and international collectors. His newest paintings can be seen at at 8/ ART GALLERY/ Tomio Koyama Gallery until 19 October.

Kenjiro Hosaka
Kenjiro Hosaka (born in 1976) is curator of the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo. Hosaka graduated with MA in Art History from Keio University, and is specialized in Contemporary/Modern Art . He has curated many exhibitions such as“A Perspective on Contemporary Art 6: Emotional Drawing” (2008), “Where is Architecture? Seven Installations by Japanese Architects” (2010), “Leiko Ikemura: Transfiguration” (2011), “Francis Bacon” (2013) and “Logical Emotion” (2014). Hosaka is co-writer of many books including “I will be a curator” (2009, Film Art),“Welfare × Expression × Art × Spirit” (2013, 3331 Arts Chiyoda) and “ART BRUT ART NIPPON” (2013, Heibonsha ) , and writes many articles as a contributor to many magazines and newspaper including “Subaru” “Asahi-shimbun”and “chic”. Hosaka is currently an adjunct lecturer of Tokyo University of the Arts and Kyushu University.
